DermaCode was a collaborative project with another student. We were prompted to develop a campaign that talked about issues with skin confidence. The focus of DermaCode was de-coding the language associated with skincare to create a more positive perception of skin among young people.

Hey! I'm Maeve McGuinness and I'm a Vermont-based Graphic Designer! My design philosophy often leads me to creating expansive design systems informed by comprehensive multi-disciplinary research. That's what excites me most about design- creating cohesive and vast extensions and applications for each project that's driven by inquiry. I naturally sink into meticulous details of the identity, be it visual, verbal, or philosophical, of each of my designs, something that I believe bolsters the quality of my work (and my enjoyment of the process!)
Outside of design, I'm deeply interested in cultural research, geographically focused in the Middle East (which is often reflected in my designs.) I also love delving into other creative disciplines, especially printmaking and illustration!
